Guidelines for Photographers & Videographers
Prior to the Ceremony
The couple has been given a specific arrival time of 3 hours prior to the ceremony time. They should be letting you know what time that is so that this is not an issue. There are additional fees charged for their coming in earlier than the agreed upon and allotted arrival time — so we would please ask that the photographer/videographer not tell them other times to arrive.
If your company has not been here before, you may arrive earlier the day of to scout the grounds, or make an appointment in advance of the wedding day to plan out the picture areas.
Prior to the ceremony, when the bridal party is outside for pictures, they are not to go past the bronze metal gazebo at our "overlook" and down the driveway for pictures — this causes major problems with arriving traffic. The fenced-in yard of the house on the south side of the property is off limits. Please ask if you're not sure about any of the boundaries.
Our management will show you where you can store your gear, have your meal and answer any other questions. Please use them as your contact person after meeting them upon your arrival.
During the Ceremony
During the ceremony, please be as unobtrusive as possible at all times.
After the Ceremony & At the Reception
Following the ceremony and if there is no receiving line, the couple and the bridal party are escorted to their horsd'oeuvre area for Cocktails & Horsd'oeuvres where they can take a 10-minute break away from the guests and then begin picture taking.
Once the guests are cleared from the wedding site into their C/H area, the bridal party can go back out on the grounds for pictures. You will have approximately 45 minutes between the ceremony end time and the time pictures need to be over. A manager will let you know the exact time to keep the event on schedule.
The timing with the DJ and the management for the reception itinerary will be discussed and coordinated with them and any other vendors. The couples have paid for you to have a meal and the vendors are served following the guests.
Please do not take the bride and groom out of the reception area at any time without prior communication with the management and the DJ.
